Have any other memebers requested all the information that Atos hold about them under the freedom of information act or data protection act whichever it may be?

If so what was the information that you received like, in detail and format?

Also was you happy and convinced that it was correct and it was all the information they held about you? or are you sceptical?

Thanks

John

I requested a copy of the atos medical report although it was of no use as her writing was so poor I could not understand a word of it.

Maybe that is why the DWP gave me a home visit instead of one at the nearest atos centre.

It is more a copy of the general info they hold.

I have received mine after request and it seems quite ludicrous, it is ALL pretty much just pages and pages of codes and I believe it is not a true copy. In particular there is a phone call just 1 that has some proper comment but it is says just 6 words of a long argumentive phone call. The restis just pages and pages of codes that many do not make any sense when you try to read them.

Has anyone had sinilar to this?

I am more than dubious that there is just 6 words of real text throughout almost the whole report and the conversation it relates to was very detailed....are Atos hiding something? Does anyone know where I can find out what these reports should eb like?

Thanks

John:

I am afraid that this is par for the course from ATOS. I, too, asked for everything they held on me, and I, too, was distictly underwhelmed by their response.

There is a catch-all phrase that they "... dispose of data for which they no longer have a commercial need." So asking ATOS for data is rather a lost cause, it seems.

I also asked the DWP whether or not ATOS supplied to them all materials to comprise a full audit trail after an assessment, which audit trail would be preserved AT LEAST until the outcome of any possible appeal; oddly, they never answered that one. I'll have to get back to them on it.
