Blue Badge success!!!

Just wanted to say I received my Blue Badge today just 3 weeks, their website says betwen 6 to 8 weeks, after applying to my local council. I haven't yet applied for DLA so even though my GP, lovely lady, was happy to support my application for the badge I didn't really expect to succeed especially as I was claiming on the grounds of CFS/ME.

I'm hoping this success augers well for my looming reassessment for ESA & for my ill health retirement pension.

Good to hear, and good luck with your claims. I was shocked when my blue badge came through in one week. Not sure the ESA takes it into account on their assessment, but it must help reinforce your mobility difficulties, especially the "where did you park" question they ask at the medical.

Cant see ESA taking a blue badge into account the DLA never have.
