DLA claim guidelines (dla_ad_ph_dec08) up to date? was created by Harryb
I am just beggining the laborious process of renewing my DLA claim after recieving the benefit for the last two years. The information on this site is very helpful, both in the forums and the guides. With specific reference to the DLA guide dla_ad_ph_dec08 it obviously dates to 2008, just wondered if it is still current and if there have been any significant changes in legislation and or assessment in the last 3 years ?

Hi Harryb,
We will be giving the DLAguides a bit of a makeover as soon as we've finished writing the new WCA guides. But there have been no significant changes in legislation, caselaw or procedures in relation to the DLA issues we cover in the guides. Nor, given that it's likely to be scrapped in the next few years, are there likely to be.
Good luck,
Steve

Thanks for the quick response Steve. That's good news, maintains some consistency in these changing times, at least for the time being.

Hi Dave,
Golly, how did I manage to forget that? You're quite right and I've obviously been spending too much time on ESA and welfare reform bills.
