Hi people Can anybody give me some advice with my problem, which I will now explain; I am on ESA - work focused support group, income & contribution based (don't ask me how, but that's the title). On top of that, I have started permitted work and to be honest I am struggling as my health has got worse. I went to ask Pathways to Work - How long could I stay on permitted work, or how do I stop if I can't do it? Here is the un-believable answer - "We don't know, as we've all been made redundant as of June and we are not sure what will happen to you". As you can imagine I'm a bit concerned. I've been encouraged to start my own business and now I'm 5K in debt and not physically capable to carry on. I was actually asked to leave ESA and just claim working tax credit, even though I don't earn a penny. I'm made to feel like a 'scrounger' for asking anyone else but all of you know how it feels and hopefully give me a bit of an answer. Have I got a time limit? and what happens to help from Pathways to Work now? Thanks In pain, deaf, sedated, need permanent care but "capable of work" according to some people lol
