its all happening this week !

gosh, what a mad few days.

Got a letter confirming home medical for ESA, so happy about that.

Then got DLA appeal paperwork for the appeal started last year and supposed to be heard in March 2011 but still waiting on a date.

Then saw my new GP who was quite 'surprised' should we say at why I had not seen a CFS/Fybromyalgia specialist as I exhibit all the symptoms.

So, now whilst waiting on the decision on my Care component claim I am going to be waiting on an appointment with a specialist.

DLA have written to my old GP for some sort of report but do I get my new GP to do a supporting letter or anything now that he has decided to go down a totally new route with me?

Maybe at long last I have found a GP that is prepared to sit and listen and try and do something for me?

There is no harm in asking your new GP for a supporting letter if you think it could be helpful, but it would have to be regarding your health at the time of the decision, when he probably didn't know you.

I have only recently applied for the Care component after having a live-in carer for 3 months so covering the pre-qualifying period for DLA Care.

As this application for Care is only a couple of weeks ago and my new GP has looked at my history and made his recommendations for further investigations I was wondering if his input would help the relatively new Care component application.
