Hi Celtic Loca

To score points for mental health, either the ATOS HCP or an appeal tribunal would have to conclude that you have a mental disablement. The question you need to ask is why you can't you go out or socialise, and what mental disability causes it?

People who have had long-term physical problems can as a consequence develop mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, social phobia, etc. If it is a short-term problem that results from hands being operated on, in all probabilities it will not be considered a mental health problem.

Good luck

Derek
