hi all
i read somewhere yesterday that the goverment were going to reduce the amount of savings you could have to 23000 then you would be lible to pay all nurseing home care yourself. at about £500 p/w it wont last long then what! [sentence deleted by moderator]

Also those already in Residential Care Homes pre pension age are not going to be able to contribute as much for their care as transfer to ESA from IB/SDA + Income support is a lower payout weekly along with then the possible move onto Universal Credit which of course will be tilted to be lower still.

It seems that the Social Care bill for those in care homes will be rocketing.
