Here goes Appeal Day

Hi there, well i'm sat here, with all my documents all ready and my poor hands all shaky, i can honestly say i'm really not looking forward to today. I bet you can all imagine the amount of sleep i got *lol*.

Best of luck at you appeal. Appeal hearings are often not as nerve-racking as you expect.

I hope I see a successful outcome when you're back on the boards.

I have got butterflies for you, but once you get there you will be put at ease. Its easy to say try not to worry but its the unknown and uncertainty that cause the stress. Please let us know how you get on i will be thinking about you!!

thanks everyone for your wonderful replies, they certainly cheered me up because sadly i didn't get very far today.

The panel have adjourned the hearing after an hour or so of asking loads of questions and even seeing what my deformity looked like! So you can imagine how shocked i was when i was told that they wanted to adjourn and i should get them all my medical records since 2008!

I really felt like i'd taken a blow to the stomach. I've just rang our GP and been told it costs £50 just to copy my records to that date. I think it's probably pointless to go ahead and spend that serious kind of money (to me anyway) for what will probably be a No anyway. Hubby thinks i just feel this way at the moment and says i shouldn't make any rushed decisions, he said the fact they took 30 minutes to even get to that decision means they must have nearly been there. I'd say they were probably having a ciggie break! *lol*
