If this is correct can someone tell me where i can download the paperwork on this. Thanks for your help on this.

Don't you want to go ? I ask because I am trying to work out feelings on age and how DWP treat people because with changes to retirment ages they cant keep saying that at 60 no longer this or that has to happen..... yet at the same time retirment age is going up and up I am sure we will soon see age 70 retirment

Frankly no i don't want to go. As far as I'm concerned they are just trying to meet targets. I won't go into details but i have quite a few medical problems,i am registered Disabled and have been fighting the DWP or should i say Atos for the last two years. I have a letter from Reed employment stating "we cannot exempt you from the return to work program but we can Defer you indefinitely". This was sent to me after my GP replied to a letter from them. They obviously didn't want to waste resources on me. I am sick of these people deciding how my illnesses affect me after seeing me for 30 minutes. I would not mind if these agencies were trying to help me but they are not, They are in it to make money or to reach performance targets. All the Disabled equipment i have i have bought myself. My GP tried to get me some of the items from some health agencies over a year ago and i am still waiting for them to contact me,We live in hope. So i just want these people off my back.

M.W.

You are not required to attend a WFI if you are of pensionable age.

If you were born before 6 April 1955, you are treated as attaining pensionable age when a woman born on the same day as you would attain pensionable age.

Hope this helps

It's changing a bit at a time. Here's the calculator. Put your date of birth in and say that you're female.
