Just read that page, does it mean that someone on IB getting say £109 a week if they fail the esa transfer, when they appeal and till they win (if they do) do they drop the amount they will get ?

When an IB claimant is transferred, the claim for ESA will be treated as new, as such, if you fail the Limited Capability for Work test and appeal the decision, you will receive the ESA Assessment rate until your appeal is heard.

interesting ...if they did that to me I would get more as my ib is not all paid as it over laps with Unemplysupp of WP

I asked the question as I can think of a few on max IB who dont have other incomes and pensions who from whats been said will get only half what they get now if they fail ESA50

thats bad :(
