atos/rescheduled appointment?

I attended an atos medical four weeks ago and have heard nothing until today. A phone call from atos informed me that they needed to see me again because there were some questions they had forgot to ask. A new appointment has beem made for me on 24th Dec.This date as you can imagine is most inconvenient. Can I reschedule for the new year, after all the fault lies with them, not with me?

it's worth asking them. but, it's always up to ATOS to say yes or no

plus, if the missed a question, why didn't they ask you over the phone?

If they have forgotten to ask you some questions i would be telling them that it is not convenient for the 24th Dec and why cant they ring and ask you the questions?!!!! Dont quote me on this but it sounds very much like they have lost your paperwork!!! Its bad enough going once without having to go again. The other way round it would be for them to visit you if they cant talk to you over the telephone. They cant stop your payments due to their own incompetance. Due to their error you are not getting the full ESA rate and why has it taken them 4 weeks to realise!!!!!

I cancelled an ATOS medical because I was busy on that day, and they rearranged it.

If you have made arrangements before you were asked to attend a medical I can't see how they could justify refusing to rearrange it. Letters from Medical Services usually ask you to inform them if the appointment is inconvenient.

In any case, arranging a medical for Christmas Eve is sheer stupidity, even by ATOS's standards.
