No ESA paid today!

Hi, just thought I would let you know,

went to Dr's a few days back and was given another 'Fit Note'. Sent it by recorded delivery (74p).

Checked bank account today, no ESA payment! Have tracked the letter, they got it on 2nd.

Will, I guess, now have to ring them!

ps Luckily, I have photocopied 'fit note'.

The problem can often be that Recorded Delivery letters are signed for 'in bulk' and it can take time to filter down from the post room to the relevant department. It then depends on their workload how quickly it is processed. However they should not leave you without money, so play merry hell with them.

Well done in keeping a photocopy. It is surprising how many can get lost in the system.

It has to be the best time to phone, I have rung at 4 pm before and come off the phone crying!
