ESA WENT IN BANK THEM CAME STRAIGHT BACK OUT!!! was created by jj
Today I finally got paid 8 weeks of ESA into the bank and then on the same day it got reversed and took out!!!!
I had a letter from the DWP confirming that i was due the payment and the amount matched up but the above happened!!!
I have no idea what’s going on at all??? Anyone had this happen??
Anyone know what this is about???
Please folks I’m lost, ill, and skint by 8 weeks starved, it’s getting too much for me I think...

Have you spoken to your bank to find out exactly what happened? Was it actively taken back out or was there a lack of confirmation of the payment or what?
I think that first thing tomorrow, you need to go to your jobcentre and ask for a crisis loan with a giro at the counter the same day. It's possible.
Meanwhile, if they don't get it sorted tomorrow, I'd get a printout of the account transactions from a cash till and give it to your MP together with a copy of the letter from the DWP saying they are paying you.
Good luck.

I haven't heard of this happening with benefits, but that's not to say that it doesn't happen.
How have you been coping until now? Are you getting social fund loans (i.e. do you know how they work) or are you using some other source of funding (I don't need to know what)?
