If your illness worsens was created by margaux
What do you do if your condition has worsened since being placed in the WRAG please?
I have done a quick search on here but can't find anyone who has had the experience of asking to be re-assessed. Who do you contact? What happens?

Same sort of thing has happened to me went to medical put into WRAG went to WFI about five times I found they would not put the correct information about my illnesses on the action plan until I complained also they put I was available for full time employment when in fact I was on limited work capacity.
On my sixth WFI I telephoned Pathways and told them I could not attend the WFI or the Courses they put me on as I had developed Ulcerative Colitis and could not get out bed.
I got a phone call from the OT at Pathways asking would I like to go to pain therapy sessions I told her I dont think you understand I cannot get out of the house for more then ten minutes.
It got so bad I ended up in hospital on a drip for 5 days UC still not fully controlled and have loose bowl action that I cannot control.
I then get an ATOS letter saying I have to go for reassessment on the 9th of November so what happens now I am not sure.
I have been on ESA for a year so your guess is as good as mine to what ATOS will do.

The term 'pain therapy' or 'pain management' completely baffles me. Do people really get paid for running such courses?

Sorry Margaux
To answer your question, you can apply to JCP to have your claim reviewed and send additional evidence of new or deteriorating conditions. There may be a risk, as you may have to attend another medical and get reassessed. You may want to consider getting face-to-face advice before applying.
Best wishes
Derek

Derek, maybe it's like 'breathing' techniques for when your in labour. Sounds great in theory but then you're in the middle of it and screaming for an edidural!
Best wishes,
Rachel
