Sorry if this seems a silly question but as I am still on Income Support I do not know much about ESA apart from the fact that the appeals are taking a long time. My question is if someone is assessed as being fit for the work group and then appeals and gets into the support group is the money higher in the support group and if so is your claim back dated to the time that you were assessed as being fit for the work group so you accumulate the diferential in money that you missed out on during the time it took to get your case to appeal?
