As today draws to a close, there have been a bumper amount of posts amounting to over 420, which is almost 18 an hour in the last 24 hours.
As far as I am aware, these figures by far and away surpass anything we have encountered in the past, but obviously for very good reason in the light of the comprehensive spending review, and the effect it will have on members with all its associated anxieties, it should come as no surprise.
No doubt as more of the sordid details become clearer, a substantial amount of posts will continue for the foreseeable future.

As someone who usually just looks in now and then and has only posted a couple of times, I would like to thank Steve and all the moderators for this great support at this challenging time. I worked for the DWP for 25 years until I was forced to take Ill Health retirement due to a severe progressive neuromuscular condition. The savage cuts to welfare for disabled people made today, have angered and upset me deeply and I feel that I would like to get involved in some kind of action to fight the injusices of this coalition government. Chaining myself to the Downing Street barricade woud be difficult as I hardly leave home just now. Do you need some help with the ste perhaps?
