OMG! I can't believe it!

My daughter has today been told that she is in the SUPPORT group! I wasn't even trying for the support group as I felt that was impossible so I just focused on the work group and would have been grateful to get that for her!

It is definitely all down to this forum that we got this for her. Thank You so much, we could NOT have done it without your guides.

Many thanks for sharing your good news.

It can give hope and encouragement to others going through the process that not all ESA claims are problematical, and that you found the guides very useful. I am sure the site owner Steve will be delighted his guides have been so helpful.

Well as I said, I wasn't even thinking of the Support group when I used the guides to help me fill out the form, yet I got it for her anyway! So the guides are THAT good.

I do have a question though? Do we still have to send sick notes now and will we still be getting a medical? We haven't had one yet. And we haven't yet been told not to send anymore sick notes, but then we only got the letter today informing us of the result.

Congratulations to you and your daughter.

You shouldn't have to send in any more sick notes now that your daughter is on main phase ESA, they used to inform both claimants and their doctors of this. For some reason they no longer include this information in their letter informing you of the decision.

Your daughter will probably be reassessed at some time in the future, the medical report may give some indication as to how long into the future that will be.
