ESA points?

Hi, I'm a newbie so please bear with me
I've just got my letter after my ATOS work capability assessment - and I'm in the work related activity group. Good news there, I had been told to expect being put on JSA.
I've been awarded 24 points, so my question is - how many points does it take to be placed into the support group?
I don't know whether to appeal or just be happy I got the award that I have

Congratulations on getting sufficient points.

To get into the support group it isn't a question of more points. Instead, you need to show that any single one of a range of descriptors apply to you. If you look in our introduction to ESA in the members area it explains the system there and gives a list of the descriptors.
