common sense prevails was created by Diane Rice
Hi all, just an update after my hubby was awarded 30 points on the ESA medical. He was put in the WRAG, not the support group - we wanted to appeal this but were told that he could lose the ESA award if the appeal was turned down so we left it - any money is better than no money. He went to his first "work focussed interview" - this was carried out by a very nice lady who was visibly shocked at the fact that he had been put in the WRAG. She deferred the interviews for 12 months, saying he should have been put in the support group. She said she had never come across anyone with 30 points who had been put in WRAG, in fact lots of people with less than 30 points were in support group. She was very understanding and is the first person we have met with any common sense!
