B)
That is fab that you got into the support group!

I do spend days on my commode, as I have permanent cystitis 24/7, also I had quite some falls and it saves me hurting my bad hip when I am on constant need to 'go' to loo days..... I feel honestly like I am falling to bits...

I have not have many people visit me since I have been very ill, and only on my best days. My family cannot cope with it.

I guess I need to explain all that.

My husband is going to be there with me.

I am very, very nervous.

I had a home visit back in fEB 2009.. as my doctor knew it would be too much hassle for me to get to the centre.. The visit was fine.. although the result was incorrect.. I should be in the support group.. I habe too fill out another ESA50 now.. If I do not get in the support group I will appeal.. I have had MS for over 5 years and cannot walk 30 metres or get up from a chair without assistance.. I am also incontinent with my bladder.. Seems this is not enough for a support group ruling.. Oh well.. Wish me luck this time..

Hi Tilly

It sounds like you are having a rough time of it (I'd put an empathy icon here if there was one).

Having explained everything I couldn't do, I was also asked what I did do. So it might be worth considering how you would answer that. It's a chance to emphasize/illustrate just how limited you are in what you can do due to your health.

Although it's nerve-wracking, it's great that you will have your hubby's support, and you can get it agreed with the doc at the start of the interview/medical that he can speak for you at times, if you want. It really helps in lots of ways to have someone there who knows how it is for you.

Remember it's just a short time that will soon be over, just a brief interlude in a day. I found that helped a bit when I was getting nervous!

Good luck, and let us know how you get on!

regards
Rainbowlight
