Hi everyone
I recently re applied on behalf of my son for DLA, when I re applied he was under 16 he is now 16.
His award has been reduced from high rate care to middle rate (he maintained the low rate mobility award)- the explanation given that he doesn't need the required amount of support at night to justify an award of high rate care.
However the evidence I recorded showed that his needs had not changed in fact I gave an additional issue.
I am going to appeal and have subscribed to this site to get relevant up to date info, just wondered if anyone had any thoughts which may help my case.
