DLA Renewal After 17 years

Is it worth me renewing my claim. I Applied for DLA 17 years ago and got the middle rate care and lower rate mobility for Epilepsy and asthma. Since then I have a prolsped disc and mental health issues I am dianosed with emotionaly unstable personality disorder, and major recurrant depressive disorder aswell as still epilepsy / conversion disorder and asthma. I am new to this forum and a full member I here the goverment are trying to abolish DLA is this just rumours and am I better off staying on the ammmount I am on for life rather than claim for more

The stats of what happens when you ask them to look again at your DLA are here somewhere on this web site the bottom line is 3% end up with nothing if you ask them to look again then as long as nothing you put confilcts with your claim you will be all right... myself and a few others asked for them to look again.. in my case I think it was 15 years not sure but a long time I sent off the form I had mobility higher indef I wrote on the forms please just look at care which they did I kept higher mobility and also got middle rate care indef which I thought was the right award based on my problems also it only took 4 weeks

try and get pro advice and look at the new claim form which is online and have a think about it

Just checked was Feb 95 got DLA
