Hi David,

Just a quick question. I'm due to retire in a few months time. When will the DWP notify me to claim my state pension.

Or is it done automatically ?

Hi MrFibro

I have just checked with Gov.uk and this is the advice--
You will not get your new State Pension automatically - you have to claim it.
Here is the link to claim it-
