Hi Claire Louise

You say that you have told the DWP about the change in your health, but how did they respond? Did you tell them that you are reporting a 'change of circumstances' or did they mention it? A change of circumstances will trigger a review of your case. I don't know whether any of our members have been in a similar position, but be aware it is not the condition per se that is important. It is how the condition impacts your daily living and/or mobility, as laid out in the PIP criteria. This means that two people can appear to have the same condition with similar symptoms, but they will not necessarily receive the same award. If they have not mentioned about reviewing your case - you will need them to do this in order to have the chance of your award being increased from standard to enhanced.
