Channel 4 Hit Job was created by kittyroo
Hi i was wondering if there is anything we can do collectively to make a rebuttal of the insidious, snide, and disgustingly obvious hit job that Channel 4 did on the sick, disabled and vulnerable. I could hardly believe the naked gaslighting that was going on. They were blatantly being told by the government what narrative to pursue. The use of a particular claimant to highlight 'malingerers' was laughable in its anti-sick and disabled bias.
I have mentioned this to all the Youtubers that tackle government attacks on the poor and sick. But I am so enraged I want to go further and not let them get away with it. As far as I am concerned this so called 'Dispatches' was little more than the old fashioned 'poverty porn' from Channel 5.
Absolutely chilling and sinister stuff dressed up as 'serious' reporting.

Hi Kittyroo

I didn't watch the programme, but it obviously invoked very strong feelings in you. If you see that anyone has started a poll or petition about it, you are free to come back and put it in a new post. However, I am locking this post because members are finding issues like this triggering to their mental health, and our priority as mods has to be to try and help them with immediate issues regarding form filling and assessments.
