Cr ESA To UC was created by Tavvy
Hi
Sorry if this has been asked before but I fill in the journal every week with my volunteer and job search.
Before I was moved to UC I was in the support group of Contribution related ESA.
I know I signed a contract to search all the time but it distresses me and makes me highly anxious and depressed.
How can I tell what group I am in on UC? How often should I be searching? When will they force me to work?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Tavvy,

You need to send a message via your UC Journal to your Work Coach stating that you are in the LCWRA Conditionality Group and therefore don't have to look for work or do work preparation.
Let me know how you get on as a lot of members are experiencing similar difficulties.

UC have not responded to my message about the LCWRA group, so I have posted another message. Since then I have discovered that I am over £600+ in rent arrears because UC say they never received a reply from my social landlords to confirm the rent details. The social landlords say they never received anything from UC. I asked UC to resend the SRS form which they did and the landlords have confirmed the details. Is there anyway to get UC to pay the arrears or is it a hopeless cause?

Hi Tavvy,

I would give them a couple of days to answer your queries and sort it out otherwise we will have to go down the route of a manager's complaint.
