Can I ask for the extension through CAB Help to Claim service? I was thinking of contacting UC to ask for an extension and then contact CAB Help to Claim service to help me with my application, but if I can claim the extension through CAB Help to Claim then it is better.
Which option do you think is best?
I will definitely contact CAB Help to Claim as I can tell it is really for our benefit.
I really appreciate your help. Thank you. Best wishes
Citizens Advice online advise that an extension can be requested by contacting the Universal Credit Managed Migration helpline on 0800 169 0328 before the deadline date. But as they say " there is no harm in asking ", you could phone Help to Claim and see if they are allowed to request an extension for you. Let me know how you get on.
