Does Universal credit get taking into account ?? was created by Winston1968

I am getting my late husbands armed forces pension and because I only receive PIP and my husbands pension is 9k a year I don’t have to pay tax as below the threshold.
Does my husbands pension get taking into account when it comes to Universal credit or is it not taken into account because i don’t pay tax.

All pensions are taken into account when you claim Universal Credit as UC is a means tested benefit.

We would advise you to seek advice from your local Welfare Rights Organisation; advicelocal.uk .
