Just like to warn everyone undergoing assessments/reviews to be careful with this private company. I'd made a complaint after reading the RGN report yet the frequent retort to my points of issue is "there is no evidence to support your statement". According to a doctor who reviewed my medical notes I do have evidence a higher level HCP - doctor - would see.
I can only assume they are coming down particularly hard on PIP reviews, so make sure any contact with this company is recorded. I'm ready for tribunal and know the guides here will help but I've never known such deliberate obfuscation in a medical process. I've worked in admin in private hospitals and never seen doctors disregard aspects of diagnosis.
There are certainly underhand tactics going on with ATOS who care not, I suppose, if their contract isn't going to be renewed. The Client Relations Case Officer has only provided a box no for correspondence on the matter, we've had email for years so it's archaic the way this company operates. There certainly is an agenda of taking folks PIP away going by the boards here and other welfare policy sites. So just a warning if anyone's review is with ATOS.
