Selling house on ESA contribution based was created by Judith-Ann Wardlaw

We are selling our house and another next door that was a holiday let as we couldn't manage the holiday let, and we can't afford to live in our house.

Do I need to declare sale of both houses to DWP? I'm on contribution based ESA and in support group.

Your real name appears to be your forum name, we advise you to change it. See

If you are only receiving Contribution Based ESA and do not receive any Income Related ESA top-up then your ESA will be unaffected by the sale of your houses and you do not need to inform the DWP.
