"Triage’ Paper Hearings New rules introduced on 19 March 2020, because of coronavirus, allow judges in PIP appeals to sit alone and to make a provisional decision on the papers"
Just wondering as I prepare my appeal, is this still happening? Or has it been scrapped, with all appeals going straight to the oral or full paper hearing as requested? Also mention of remote oral ones? If I'm going to have an oral one I would much rather travel, pain and all, to have the hearing in a courtroom than emotionally taint my home with it. Have been to a couple with a relative so I know what I'm facing. Thanks.
HI denby, As far as I know the coronavirus provisions no longer apply - certainly in my part of the country all the appeals are being heard by a three person panel. (And I like the idea of wanting to protect your home as a safe place!) Catherine
