Just a quick one, has anyone else come across a van lifer who struggles with planning and following a journe. They can drive the van to different locations, just struggles leaving the van due to anxiety and depression. Thanks in advance.
The first question to ask is which question do you think they will score points for? Does their anxiety and depression mean they find it challenging to plan a journey? Do they have an issue with unfamiliar journeys? Do they travel alone or do they need support when they make a journey? Do they lack motivation and need encouragement to make a journey? Do they have problems with concentration that makes it difficult? etc etc - Do have a look at the guidance on this - pages 80 (Guide to PIP Claims and Reviews) Clearly there is an issue when having to leave the journey - and the guidance says how you may tackle this. The difficulties have to be in place for the majority of the time. Be aware they may have difficulties if the assessor thinks they plan and they drive from A to B with no difficulties.
