I got referred to my local gym for NERS, it is a course, where you do exercises under supervision, I have now finished the 16 week course and now been signed off, with a view to go back and use the gym in my own time my drs and consultant both agree I should keep going I'm a wheelchair user so get hight mobility and hight care.
If your doctor and consultant both agree that you should continue with going to the gym, then that sounds like what you should be doing - following their advice.
