I need letters that confirm I'm in receipt of ESA and PIP, but do not mention details (what rates I'm getting, that I'm in the Support Group, etc). Hoping someone can advise how I might be able to obtain such documents?
I need proof of benefits for an application, but I don't want the solicitor, and the team assessing my application, all seeing exactly what I'm getting. I'm a private person, and extremely uncomfortable with strangers knowing details of my personal finances.
You could ask the DWP to write you such a letter (but I'm not sure they will agree). You could redact the information from the benefit letters you have received.
