Elderly parents was created by meyastar
Hi

My parents are elderly and I am looking to complete a PIP, but apparently they are too old to claim. I have no idea what they could claim. Does anyone have any ideas please?

Thanks
Shamira

Hi meyastar

If your parents are too old for PIP - then you want to look at Attendance Allowance. Here is our FAQ on Attendance Allowance benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/aa

You can look at the information on the government site www.gov.uk/attendance-allowance

Age UK - also have a helpful sheet www.ageuk.org.uk/globalassets/age-uk/doc...ce_allowance_fcs.pdf

You would need to talk to a specialist benefits advisor to see what other benefits your parents may be able to claim advicelocal.uk/
