Mandatory reconsideration request was created by Lynz
I've been told that I can apply for a mandatory reconsideration, 13 months from the date of the PIP decision letter, but must provide a reason why the request is outside the one month time limit, is this correct?

Hi Lynz,

The following is a quotation in relation to this:

"Once you've received your PIP decision, you usually need to ask for the Mandatory Reconsideration within one month of the decision date (the date on the decision letter). But if you miss the one-month deadline, it's still worth asking for a Mandatory Reconsideration, as long as it's within 13 months of the decision."

Regards, Chris.
