I had been renting for years, until my landlord sold the house i was in. I have been back living with my parents this last 18 months. I suffer with depression and back living at home again has made my depression and anxiety alot worse. Rental vacancies in my area are very hard to find. I am a 45 year old man and currently getting High rate ESA & PIP as i am disabled having only one leg. I am looking at a house for sale. I just sold my vintage car last week which brings my savings up to £25000. And i have been lucky lately playing with crypto currency, i have got £50,000 balance on an online exchange account. I can get a bank loan of £30,000 & my brothers each said they would gift me £15,000 each. (£45,000). So that i can buy a home of my own and hopefully helps my severe depression. The question is will i lose my benefits if i buy my own house? I have a paper trail of where the money has come from and have not soent a penny on anything else?
