Good morning,
I had my telephone assessment yesterday afternoon. This morning at 8am I received this text message :
About your PIP review. The health professional has sent us their report.
We will make a decision on your PIP, but it may take 6 weeks before you hear from us.
You will continue to get PIP while your award is being reviewed.
You only need to contact us if your circumstances change.
My question is, is this a standard text message? And is it a bad thing that it was sent so quickly?
Im feeling really anxious about this.
Thank you

Hi Spennywen
Yes it is normal, although not all claimants receive text messages.
Now that you have received the message you can contact DWP and ask for a copy of the assessors report, this will give you the heads up of what you may be awarded.
If there are any glaring errors in the report, you can write to the decision maker and point out any errors, especially if it ties in with any evidence you have sent in. Just let the decision maker know you are not requesting a mandatory reconsideration but reserve the right to do so.

I got a text message shortly after my f2f and it was nothing sinister.
