Review.... PIP Telephone Assessment ....1 year later was created by Rich
So sorry but don't know how to post new question.
Trying to help a claimant friend. A month ago they finally after a year wait received a letter outlining payment details of PIP.
No award letter however and was told its should come 'soon'.
Concerned about timing out on mandatory reconsideration request window. Won't have any evidence that the award letter was not received.
Anyone relate and have advice please?
Thanks.

Hi Rich
I've moved your post to its own topic, we ask members not to post their questions in other member's topics as it can lead to the wrong advice being given or taken.
When you log into the forum you will see a tab that says 'New Topic' click on the tab to create a new post, remember the post will not be seen until it has been moderated, ie check to make sure there is no profanity, names or personal details contained in a post.
In reply to your concern, you have one month from the decision date of the letter to request a MR within time limits, you can apply for a MR outside this limit if you have good cause, the maximun time limit is 13 months from the decision date.
If you have not received any news from DWP in two weeks, then contact them and chase what is happening, make sure you note the name of the person you speak to, date and time. You may also want to ask for a copy of the assessors report called a PA4 just in case you do want to apply for a MR.
