Hi Munz

I can't tell you what you will or won't score points for. It's not the conditions you have per se; it is the effect those conditions have on your daily living and mobility. Only you know that, and you can either fill in the PIP test benefitsandwork.co.uk/personal-independe...nt-pip/pip-self-test and see what you score - or you can look at the Guide to PIP Claims and Reviews, run through the questions and work out what you think you could score. So, for instance, you will see in Q14 Moving Around (Activity 2) - they are interested in your ability to stand and move around outdoors and want to know if you can walk a certain distance. So although you have a stair lift because of mobility difficulties, the assessor is unlikely to take it into account when considering that question.

If you want to move from DLA to PIP - you can put in for a change of circumstances. There is no specific form; you just need to ring and put in the request to start the process, and they will tell you what to do next. Be aware that it is harder to claim PIP than it was for DLA, and some people have found themselves disappointed with what they received when they changed to PIP. I'm not saying for a moment you shouldn't try - just make sure you've read the guides so you understand what you're going for and the best way to approach it. benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/pip
