I have PIP and claim CA for my husband I also work 5 hrs a week. My question is, willl CA unit notify or prompt PIP unit that i work? I ask as i have read horror stories on-line that they do. Working 5 hrs a week is vital for my mental health and i don't want to give it up. Thank you.

There is noting wrong in working and claiming PIP, I know of many claimants who work part time and claim.

To qualify for CA you have to be doing 35 hrs a week caring but it does not state wate the caring has to be.

There are some horror stories out there, I did read about someone claiming mobility and refereed a football match. www.gov.uk/carers-allowance
