Hello,my pip is up for renewal next may,i was told i would hear from the this may,but have not heard a thing my condition has only changed in a negative way..do i call them as i need my blue badge soon.
You have three options. 1) You could wait to hear from them. 2) You could ring and ask when your review form will be sent out - they may send one immediately or you may have to wait until the intended date on the system 3) You could ring and report a change of circumstances - your health has deteriorated.
If you take option three - it will automatically trigger a review. If you received an improved award, it would be backdated to the point where you told them about the change of circumstances. If you go for option two and a review form is sent out, and you get an improved award, it will not be backdated but paid from the date on the decision letter.
If you ring, tell them you are concerned about your Blue Badge running out.
