M R ENQUIRY

Hi I sent by mandatory reconsideration by recorded post they received it 13/06/2023 yesterday 27/07 /2023 phoned to see where it was up to they said it’s not on the system yet and they will put it on the system now but needed to ask some questions than got cut off so I waited till the next day because I have to have somebody with me to help me because of my hearing we got through in 20mins and they said they nothing on the system again and they started asking my friend questions about why I’m in disagreement with the PIP assessment i used to get enhanced pip and they dropped me down to standard Pip Also, I have been fighting for mobility which I’m only got four points. They wait through all the questions on the phone, why I disagreed, but my friend told them it was in all the paper work what my support worker put down who was with me, at the pip assessment so they asked every question about the disagreement again, which I had a copy of what my Support Worker gave me but my friend he helps me didn’t know what was going on but keep saying I disagreed with the questions scoring no points, like washing preparing food, eating and drinking, managing your treatments and mobility which was on my MR is this something they do again asking questions again, I do have a support worker who is very ill at the moment and a carer who’s away so wondering if they can stop my PIP altogether because I’ve asked for MR also I would recommend to anyone who has put a MR in to ring after 2 weeks make sure it gone on there system, and definitely recorded delivery sorry repeating myself so can they stop my pip if asking for MR thanks

Am so thankful for your advice when my friend ring yesterday for my MR update he said he got the written MR and was going back date it to 13/06/2023 then just getting to the end of the conversation phone went call went off am not sure if he did it my friend ring today to see if he had updated it but he didn’t when we got through today and we were told there was nothing showing so after the call got a txt straight after the phone call saying it’s gonna be another eight weeks again am willing go to tribunal am hoping it does not come to that so my advice is to ring and make sure they have received your written MR I will let you know the outcome of the MR so again BIG THANKS
