So sorry to hear that Carol. The whole process is a nightmare. There were a few lies and assumptions as well as things wrong on my decision letter and I was was only 2 points away from enhanced on both but my fight is all depleted. I am happy I've got something though and If things get worse I will let them know but for now I just want to stop worrying about it all. I do hope you get something more in the future.. Take care of yourself.

Hi Bron and Carol
It is important to contact DWP and ask for a copy of the assessors report called a PA4, this should be a must for every claimant even if your claim is successful.
It can be frustrating when you do not get what you believe you should be awarded, which is why we advise claimants to get a copy of the assessors report, that way you can see how the decision maker has come to their decision.

Hi again, quick question. My PIP award is up in January 2025. Should I have heard anything from DWP by now? I thought I would have had another review by now. Thanks in advance.

Hi Bron
I assume that they are going to extend your award as they have a backlog, but as you have heard nothing, I would contact them to get an update. That way, you can check that they haven't sent you a review form that you haven't received and get confirmation from them that your award will be extended until you have a review.
