You keep posting this and it is incorrect, there is no backdating of a PIP award where the claimants is in receipt of DLA.

Additionally, there's also the risk that you may not be successful with a PIP claim or it could be lower- hopefully that wouldn't be the case, but that risk is always there with reassessments and transfers. So why poke the 'wasp's nest'?
To be completely accurate, my previous post should read 'reassessments and new claims' - in receiving PIP after being in receipt of DLA (as most people are probably aware), a completely new claim has to be made, and a successful assessment process completed, and my previous wording of 'transfers' could be misleading. My apologies.
