My CB ESA in due to end on 3 September 2016 ( as you will see from my last post, however I'm addressing that separately)
I'm in the ESA WRAG ( ooh that looks wrong...work related group)
My question :- I have never been asked to attend any appointments by JC since I received it.
Is the onus on me to approach on ME to contact them???
Thank you

Only if you want to perform Work Related Activity
You may find that the situation changes significantly if you are switched to Income Related ESA in September.

THANK YOU for helping me move from CB ESA to IR ESA. I definitely did the correct thing and rang up to request the ESA3 form. before my CB ESA finished .That shocked them
I have successfully been moved to ESA IR - so thank you again.
Couple of questions regarding benefits
1. Bus Pass - I note it says you must be in t. he Enhanced Rate on PIP. I'm standard It also says I need to have a blue badge. I researched this and again it told Enhance PIP Can I do it on points?
2 Healthcare - Do have to submit 3 different forms I am guessing to try to get help with prescriptions, dental care and optician check ups. ( where can I get them??)
Again they keep referring to enhanced rate. I noted on my ESA IR they had listed me a severely disabled. Could that help me get help on the above? Just a bit lost. I am seeing the CAB (they have been brilliant) on Wednesday but just wanted to go in with my own facts.nb judy wondering if my points on PIP will help
Thanks again for all the support on here.

Just wanted to share with you that after a 3 years I have managed to obtain my PIP for 3 years
and moved from (CB) ESA to (IR) ESA
Thank you guys on this site for giving me the information I need regarding moving income related once my 365 days' on CB were stopped. (3/9/16)
Thanks for help on here I obtained ESA3 form, I rang the DWP before my ESA ended. Best thing I did.
I therefore managed after wading through so many forms, visiting my excellent CAB adviser to
get the information in and I have successfully been put on ESA Income Related!
When the DWP write and tell you your CB ESA is finishing, nowhere] on that letter does it really tell you what to do. so please everyone FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT and APPEAL APPEAL APPEAL. It's hard work especially when you're already unwell.
I urge people to join this site, they have been instrumental in getting these benefits. I refused to give up!!!
Do your research carefully then come to this site with any question (that will be my next post)
Thanks to all for working so hard, with so few people around. Exceeding customer service for sure..

1. Prescriptions - doing some research I am unsure if I can get help for medication etc. It seemed to indicate you had to be on Enhanced PIP, I am on standard. Can points help?
on my ESA
It states in its breakdown that I will get he sum I can as it does classes me
'Extra Money because you are severely disabled' which I have to be honest I was not expecting that!
2.for Dental Care - again unsure if I qualify
3. Free eye tests...as above. Option for assistance
If I do I guess I will need 3 different forms to be submitted but unsure where to obtain them.
4 Bus Pass. same issue Enhanced PIP required, plus I have to get a blue badge first but I no longer drive.
NB I am receiving (help with poll tax!) CTR??
I hope all the above make sense.
Thank you

1. It's down to the local bus company to set the rules on which they will issue a pass, all I can suggest is that you contact them. A Blue Badge can be issued by your Local Authority even if you do not have a qualifying benefit, they will need to assess you to see if you meet the criteria.
2. To receive help with prescription costs, etc., you need to be receiving an Income Related benefit such as ESA(IR) or Income Support, you can qualify due to low income by completed an HC1 form, there are also pre-payment certificates for prescriptions. Have a look at
