Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Washing (and therefore drying self). I do not wash above my waist on my bad flare up days even with my aids I just use the soap from my hair and the water from shower to clean! However because I use an aid I was told I was able to wash. Drying isn't counted although I get open sores because I can't.

Toileting
Because I can manage with aids I cannot score above a 2.
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I only got 2's on my last assessment and looking at the assessment comments I would not be approved at 4 for any of the approved areas. So my pip will be stopped which equals i290 per 4 weeks.

I use PIP to help me pay for a number of things including having my heating on as my conditions make me more vulnerable to feeling the cold. Also all my continence aids which equate to an average month cost of £63.00 before any washing requirements.
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I work part-time (mainly from home) but if I cannot support my continence and heating (if wfh) requirements there is a real possibility I will have to give up work. So for me this will mean I will become homeless as I couldn't afford to live in my home and pay my bills!
Anything else to tell us: I fought for many years to get my Pip and was only awarded in January 2024. I have been able to put my heating on much more knowing I could and fund better continence products this meaning I have less embarrassing and obvious accidents. So I can go out, drive for work and even work at home in more confidence/comfort. To lose this will mean I will become unemployable so I will add to the status the government states these changes are trying to prevent!
