| Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I am totally bedbound apart from toilet visits to the bathroom next to my room. There is not one thing I don't struggle with. Both thinking and sitting upright is a struggle.i can't was my hair, my feet can't cook, can't go out by myself. And yet I ve never been awarded 4 points even though I can't lift arms or stand for more than a few seconds. |

| Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I'm physically bedbound as no energy in my body, no stamina. I can't use arms propetly. I can't follow a tv programme, mentally as too fatigued. I get confused. Im only fully aware if my surroubdings a couple hours a day. If I sit up/concentrate too.long I overuse the energy I have and am asleep/unaware fir days,/ a week, as all symptoms worsen. Any work at all is impossible for me. |
| Anything else to tell us: I woukd love to go back to work. Or even gain back some of my independence. how can I fo thst when the illness I have has no treatment, no cure and no funding for research. The government has just refused to fund me/cfs research. I have an illness with no cure. Cutting my pip will not help me work. It will just make my life financially harder. Fund research, give better health care. Help cure ME/CFS!!! |
