Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Getting washed and dressed,
Anything requiring basic physical activity (as I have debilitating fatigue) such as standing for a short period, let alone going to the shop.
Anything requiring any concentration. I struggle with conversations, with Anything beyond one paragraph long in writing, as I have problems with dissociation. The flashbacks are regular and disruptive, and exhausting. I usually wake up exhausted, and sweating as I have nightmares reliving the trauma.
These are just a few of the things.
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I am not sure how much. I am frightened to try and work it out as this sort of thing leads to me thinking about suicide. My mental health conditions and childhood trauma have made me someone who cannot cope with friendship and I have no family due to abuse: so there is no one to fall back on, no one to borrow money from and no one with a spare room or sofa I can sleep on. I am not saying this for pity, I do not want to be pitied: I want to be believed and understood.
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I cannot reliably be washed and dressed for a specific time each day. I am unable to focus on tasks and often get things wrong because I have misunderstood. Fatigue and flashbacks also prevent me from carrying out even basic tasks, let alone work-based ones and so am not productive. The stress and anxiety of pressure (that would come with work) would exacerbate my current problems, including harm to myself. In the past this has resulted in several suicide attempts and hospitalisation nb: which are apparently not evidence to the DWP bc they happened more than 3 years ago.
Anything else to tell us: Being ill prevents me working, it it also prevents me having a quality of life outside work. Every factor that acts as an obstacle to work (eg poor mobility) is also an obstacle to a decent quality of life outside work. Not one of the criteria affects only your ability to work. I think people forget this.
