Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I have ME CFS my energy fluctuates from day to day and managing to do anything is extremely hard. Going out for any reason whether socal or appointment requires I rest for several days before and after even then im not garunteed to have any health on the day I frequently have to cancel the things I do try to plan on the day because I have crashed for no reason |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I would lose basicly all of my income apart from Jobseakers which is nowhere near enough to survive on considering that most of it has to go to top up the insanely low amount anyone unlucky enough to be under 35 gets for housing i think its about £250 a month to even be able to afford a room is over £400 a month and i wouldn't have enough for groceries or the other essentials i need and would have to give up the one therapy session i have each month i use my money to pay for my room in supported accommodation which I need to be in as I have autism and the learning disabilities associated with ME/CFS and groceries as i cannot work have no family and if my benefits are taken I don't know what I will do I have no family I could move in with and with severe flu symptoms most days getting a job in my current state just isn't an option and without any ME/CFS medicine even available on the NHS I'm unlikely to ever get better |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I would be pushed beyond my safe limits constantly crash repeatedly and potentially end up permanently bedbound |
Anything else to tell us: I'm terrified of what is going to happen to me if this gose through and I lose my money since I lack any kind of real support network or safe place I could go I would have no options I cant believe labour is doing this to us Please if you want to get us back to work instead of punishing us for being ill please look at the medicines better off people have been getting privately for ME/CFS and consider making them available on the NHS so that those who cant afford to go private can at least hope to recover from this horrible disease |
